What else to say...man, I've been a huge Bealtes kick. Nothing gets the creative juices flowing like they do.

Oh! The newest chapter of SWOE ends in a different way. I think I said to a few people that they'd see things from a different perspective soon, and this is part of that. I want to show that Todd isn't a complete monster. He just has a warped sense of love. Hey, he's human, and as humans, we all have something wrong with us.

At the moment I'm without internet (posting via my husband's G1), but having no internet has given me time that would've been spent on on Facebook now for a new chapter of SWOE.

Helga makes up with Arnold in typical Helga fashion, and she also shares a moment with Phoebe. There's also a new character who's pleasantly familiar (you'll see).

The end of the chapter will leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth...or perhaps sympathy for the enemy?

Another old friend is on the way in a cameo appearance. You probably won't be shocked by his "little problem".

Also...I've been trying to think of a way to earn a little cash so I can build myself a new computer. I can't go out and get a job like normal people, so I'm trying to think of other ways. I wish I could do commissions like others, but unfortunately, I'm not that talented. I need ideas.

Yeah, so I've been sitting on this chapter for about a year and a half. There's no excuse for it, really, but I couldn't help myself. I've been in a depressive funk about my "talents," and my life has been kicking me in the ass, so I'd pretty much given up.

However, recently I've been made to set goals for myself, and one of them is writing something every day, and since I have to follow this, I decided it was time to update.

And then I come here to do so, and find out that DA has changed a lot. I can't upload in anything other than PDF or HTML format now (WTF?), and I have to have a damn "preview image" to go along with it, which I don't have.

Anyone have any ideas for a preview image? I can't post without it, unfortunately, and I'm not feeling creative enough to draw something that quickly.

Boy, what a long strange trip it's been, as I was telling

First, my rabbit died. Then I got really sick, but then I got better. Then my husband got really sick, almost died, and it turns out he's diabetic. Then we moved. Then my monitor finally died, then the sound card died, and in the middle of replacing all of that, XP crashed (again, this is why I ABHOR XP). Thus, my hard drive was wiped of all of my saved stories (like my gift for Marcos and the next chapter of SWOE). Thankfully, I have a good memory. I just need to sit down and type them all again. But as you may have realized by now while reading this, this means I'm back online. So expect new stuff.

I've also been bitten by the painting bug again, so whenever I can get my hands on some new watercolor pencils, expect some more art, as well.

I've lost more weight, too, yee haw! Only about 30 pounds from my ideal weight. Still don't know how I'm losing it, but I won't question it (considering the doctors are sure I don't have cancer). I also know the cause of my pain (three different things), so while I can't do anything about it, at least it won't worry me anymore.

I'm so sorry that I haven't been on here. Thanks to everyone who's added me to their watch list, and thanks for all of the favs. And a big thanks to Marcos, again, because without him, I wouldn't have so many people watching me now.

Dropping by for a few minutes to give an update before I go to bed (finally had some time to sit down and type).

First and foremost, the next chapter of SWOE is coming soon. I did have a bit of a problem with writer's block. It's not that I didn't know what to write; just didn't know how to word it. In any case, a friend of mine (you may know her as Deep Voice) has a birthday coming up soon, and as a gift to her, she gets to read it before it gets uploaded anywhere.

Secondly, just got an email back from Craig. To Lila89, Craig enjoyed those pictures you commissioned. And to my beloved Marcos, he loved your gallery and said you have amazing amounts of talent. He also said that he's very happy to see that so many of us on here are keeping Arnold alive through our works, so keep up the good work, people!

He also sent me a few scans of Ruth, one of Helga, and a picture of him and Buzz Aldrin (which I treasure because I am a huge NASA/astronomy nut).
